Established in 1970, École Polytehnique d'Architecture et d'Urbanisme (Architecture and Urban Design Polytechnic National School) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Algiers (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique, Algérie (Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Algeria), École Polytehnique d'Architecture et d'Urbanisme (EPAU) is a small coeducational Algerian higher education institution. École Polytehnique d'Architecture et d'Urbanisme (EPAU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 52 years old Algerian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment. EPAU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, sports facilities, financial aids and/or scholarships, as well as administrative services.
