DegreeArchive stores a file you upload and gives you a share link. Archive is storage and sharing only. Sealed records a SHA-256 hash and timestamp and shows whether the file still matches that hash. Corroboration reports matches against public academic records we hold. It is not a statement from the issuing institution. Registrar-Verified is a human attempt to confirm the credential with the school; the outcome can be “could not confirm.”
You must have the right to upload the document. You must not upload anyone else’s credential without authority. Share links are bearer tokens — anyone with the link can view the file until you revoke or expire it.
Except where we expressly complete a Registrar-Verified check, we do not warrant that a document is genuine, that a person earned a degree, or that an employer should rely on a Sealed page as institutional proof.
