Founded in 1977, Örebro Universitet (Örebro University) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Örebro (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Orebro County. Officially recognized by the Utbildningsdepartementet, Sverige (Ministry of Education and Research of Sweden), Örebro Universitet (ORU) is a large coeducational Swedish higher education institution.
