Founded in 2003, Academy of Business and Social Development is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Bishkek (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan, Academy of Business and Social Development (ABSD) is a very small coeducational Kyrgyzstani higher education institution. Academy of Business and Social Development (ABSD) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. ABSD also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
