Founded in 1949, Accra Technical University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Accra (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Greater Accra. Officially recognized by the National Accreditation Board, Ghana (National Accreditation Board of Ghana), Accra Technical University (ATU) is a coeducational Ghanaian higher education institution. Accra Technical University (ATU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. ATU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
