Founded in 2007, Acibadem Üniversitesi (Acibadem University) is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the rural setting of the large metropolis of Istanbul (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Istanbul. Officially recognized by the YÖK - Yüksekögretim Kurulu (YÖK - Council of Higher Education), Acibadem Üniversitesi (ACU) is a small coeducational Turkish higher education institution. Acibadem Üniversitesi (ACU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. ACU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
