Founded in 2006, Adiyaman Üniversitesi (Adiyaman University) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Adiyaman (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the YÖK - Yüksekögretim Kurulu (YÖK - Council of Higher Education), Adiyaman Üniversitesi (ADYÜ) is a large coeducational Turkish higher education institution. Adiyaman Üniversitesi (ADYÜ) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
