Established in 1920, Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large city of Mykolaiv (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Mykolaiv Oblast. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding (NUoS) is a large coeducational Ukrainian higher education institution. Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding (NUoS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. This 102 years old Ukrainian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations.
