Founded in 2007, African University of Science and Technology is a private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Abuja (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Federal Capital Territory. Officially recognized by the National Universities Commission of Nigeria, African University of Science and Technology (AUST) is a very small coeducational Nigerian higher education institution.
