Founded in 2006, Ahi Evran Üniversitesi (Ahi Evran University) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Kirsehir (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Kirsehir. Officially recognized by the YÖK - Yüksekögretim Kurulu (YÖK - Council of Higher Education), Ahi Evran Üniversitesi (AEÜ) is a large coeducational Turkish higher education institution.
