Established in 1999, Al-Hussein Bin Talal University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Ma'an (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Maan. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Jordan, Al-Hussein Bin Talal University (AHU) is a medium-sized coeducational Jordanian higher education institution. Al-Hussein Bin Talal University (AHU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 23 years old Jordanian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.
