Established in 1989, Al Iraqia University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Baghdad (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research of Iraq, Al Iraqia University is a coeducational Iraqi higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Al Iraqia University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Al Iraqia University also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
