Founded in 2009, Al Sharqiyah University is a private higher-education institution located in the large town of Ibra (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Ash Sharqiyah North. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation of the Sultanate of Oman, Al Sharqiyah University (ASU) is a coeducational Omani higher education institution.
