Founded in 2008, Albaydaa University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large town of Al Bayda (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Yemen, Albaydaa University (AU) is a coeducational Yemeni higher education institution. Albaydaa University (AU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
