Established in 2016, Alisher Navoiy nomidagi Toshkent davlat o'zbek tili va adabiyoti universiteti (Alisher Navo'i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Tashkent (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). This institution also has a branch campus in Termez.
