Founded in 1987, American University of the Caribbean is a private higher-education institution located in the large town of Les Cayes (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), South Department. Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Éducation Nationale et de la Formation Professionnelle, Haiti (Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training of Haiti), American University of the Caribbean (AUCHaiti) is a coeducational Haitian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Nondenominational religion. American University of the Caribbean (AUCHaiti) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. AUCHaiti also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
