Founded in 1992, Andijon Mashinasozlik Instituti (Andijan Machine-building Institute) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium city of Andijan (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Andijon Mashinasozlik Instituti (AndMI) is a small coeducational Uzbekistani higher education institution. Andijon Mashinasozlik Instituti (AndMI) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. AndMI also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, as well as administrative services.
