Established in 2008, Angkor Khemara University is a private higher-education institution located in the large town of Kampot (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants). This institution also has branch campuses in the following locations: Takeo, Kampong Speu, Pursat. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Cambodia, Angkor Khemara University (AKU) is a coeducational Cambodian higher education institution. Angkor Khemara University (AKU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. AKU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
