Established in 1958, Ankang University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Ankang (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Shaanxi. Officially recognized by the Department of Education of the Shaanxi Province, Ankang University is a small coeducational Chinese higher education institution. Ankang University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
