Founded in 1998, Aomori Chuo Gakuin University is a private higher-education institution located in the medium city of Aomori (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, Aomori Chuo Gakuin University is a coeducational Japanese higher education institution.
