Established in 1972, Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the rural setting of the large metropolis of Alexandria (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). This institution also has branch campuses in the following locations: Cairo, Asswan, Port Said, Latakia. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education of Egypt, Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) is a large coeducational Egyptian higher education institution.
