Founded in 1993, Ardabil University of Medical Sciences is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the medium city of Ardabil (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of Iran, Ardabil University of Medical Sciences (ARUMS) is a very small coeducational Iranian higher education institution. Ardabil University of Medical Sciences (ARUMS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. ARUMS also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
