Founded in 1992, Artsakh State University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large town of Stepanakert (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast. Officially recognized by the Minister of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Artsakh, Artsakh State University (ASU) is a coeducational Armenian higher education institution. Artsakh State University (ASU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. ASU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
