Established in 1972, Asahi University is a private higher-education institution located in the medium city of Gifu (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, Asahi University is a coeducational Japanese higher education institution.
