Established in 2008, Asian University for Women is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Chittagong (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, Asian University for Women (AUW) is a very small women only Bangladeshi higher education institution. Asian University for Women (AUW) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
