Established in 1975, Bahauddin Zakariya University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Multan (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Punjab. This institution also has a branch campus in Layyah. Officially recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) is a large coeducational Pakistani higher education institution.
