Founded in 2016, Baki Muhendislik Universiteti (Baku Engineering University) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the medium city of Xirdalan (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Absheron. Officially recognized by the Azerbaycan Respublikasi Tehsil Nazirliyi (Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan), Baki Muhendislik Universiteti (BEU) is a small coeducational Azerbaijani higher education institution.
