Founded in 2001, Batangas State University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Batangas City (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Calabarzon. This institution also has branch campuses in the following locations: Nasugbu, Balayan, Lemery, Lipa City, Lobo, Malvar, Rosario, San Juan. Officially recognized by the Commission on Higher Education of the Philippines, Batangas State University (BSU) is a very large coeducational Philippine higher education institution. Batangas State University (BSU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
