Established in 2000, Batken State University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large town of Batken (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan, Batken State University (BSU) is a medium-sized coeducational Kyrgyzstani higher education institution. Batken State University (BSU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. BSU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, as well as administrative services.
