Established in 1973, Beibu Gulf University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large city of Qinzhou (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Guangxi. Officially recognized by the Education Department of the Guangxi Autonomous Region, Beibu Gulf University (BGU) is a coeducational Chinese higher education institution. Beibu Gulf University (BGU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. BGU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
