Established in 1984, Beijing City University is a private higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the large metropolis of Beijing (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education, Beijing City University (BCU) is a large coeducational Chinese higher education institution. Beijing City University (BCU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. BCU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
