Founded in 1921, Belarusian State University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Minsk (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), City of Minsk. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, Belarusian State University (BSU) is a large coeducational Belarusian higher education institution. This 100 years old Belarusian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades.
