Established in 1996, Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Anuradhapura (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), North Central Province. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Highways of Sri Lanka, Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka (BUSL) is a coeducational Sri Lankan higher education institution formally affiliated with the Buddhist religion. Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka (BUSL) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. BUSL also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
