Established in 2014, Biruni Üniversitesi (Biruni University) is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Istanbul (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Istanbul. Officially recognized by the YÖK - Yüksekögretim Kurulu (YÖK - Council of Higher Education), Biruni Üniversitesi is a small coeducational Turkish higher education institution. Biruni Üniversitesi offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Biruni Üniversitesi also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
