Established in 2003, Bolgatanga Technical University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large town of Bolgatanga (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Upper East Region. Officially recognized by the National Accreditation Board, Ghana (National Accreditation Board of Ghana), Bolgatanga Technical University (BTU) is a coeducational Ghanaian higher education institution. Bolgatanga Technical University (BTU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. BTU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
