Founded in 2001, Bowen University is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the medium city of Iwo (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Osun. Officially recognized by the National Universities Commission of Nigeria, Bowen University (BUI) is a small coeducational Nigerian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Baptist religion.
