Founded in 1960, British Columbia Institute of Technology is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Burnaby (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), British Columbia. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training of British Columbia, British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) is a large coeducational Canadian higher education institution. British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
