Founded in 1966, Bunkyo University is a private higher-education institution located in the medium city of Koshigaya (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Saitama. This institution also has a branch campus in Chigasaki. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, Bunkyo University is a coeducational Japanese higher education institution formally affiliated with the Buddhist religion.
