Founded in 1907, Burman University is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the large town of Lacombe (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Alberta. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Advanced Education of Alberta, Burman University (BU) is a very small coeducational Canadian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Adventist religion. Burman University (BU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. BU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
