Established in 1969, Busan Women's College is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Busan (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Korea, Busan Women's College (PWU) is a women only South Korean higher education institution. Busan Women's College (PWU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. PWU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
