Founded in 1983, Bushehr University of Medical Sciences is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Bushehr (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of Iran, Bushehr University of Medical Sciences (BPUMS) is a very small coeducational Iranian higher education institution. Bushehr University of Medical Sciences (BPUMS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. BPUMS also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
