Established in 1956, Capital University of Physical Education and Sports is a higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Beijing (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education, Capital University of Physical Education and Sports (CUPES) is a small coeducational Chinese higher education institution. Capital University of Physical Education and Sports (CUPES) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment. CUPES also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, sports facilities, financial aids and/or scholarships, as well as administrative services.
