Founded in 2010, Catholic University of Rwanda is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Butare (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Southern Province. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Rwanda, Catholic University of Rwanda (CUR) is a coeducational Rwandan higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion. Catholic University of Rwanda (CUR) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. CUR also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
