Established in 2009, Central University of Kashmir is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Srinagar (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Jammu and Kashmir. Officially recognized by the University Grants Commission of India, Central University of Kashmir (CUJK) is a coeducational Indian higher education institution. Central University of Kashmir (CUJK) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
