Established in 1993, Central Women's University is a private higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Dhaka (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, Central Women's University (CWU) is a women only Bangladeshi higher education institution. Central Women's University (CWU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. CWU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
