Established in 1974, Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (Center for Research and Teaching in Economics) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Mexico City (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Secretaría de Educación Pública, Mexico (Secretariat of Public Education of Mexico), Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE) is a very small coeducational Mexican higher education institution. Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. CIDE also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
