Founded in 1965, Cheng Shiu University is a private higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the metropolis of Kaohsiung City (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Kaohsiung. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, Cheng Shiu University (CSU) is a coeducational Taiwanese higher education institution. Cheng Shiu University (CSU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. CSU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, financial aids and/or scholarships, as well as administrative services.
