Chongjin Metal Mining University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large city of Chongjin (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), North Hamgyong. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of North Korea, Chongjin Metal Mining University is a coeducational North Korean higher education institution. Chongjin Metal Mining University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
