Chongjin University of Light Industry is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large city of Chongjin (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), North Hamgyong. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of North Korea, Chongjin University of Light Industry is a coeducational North Korean higher education institution. Chongjin University of Light Industry offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Chongjin University of Light Industry also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
