Established in 1951, Chongqing Jiaotong University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the metropolis of Chongqing (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Chongqing Municipality Education Commission, Chongqing Jiaotong University (CQJTU) is a large coeducational Chinese higher education institution. Chongqing Jiaotong University (CQJTU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.
